EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. AD 238-244. BI Tetradrachm (22mm, 12.67 g, 12h). Dated RY 6 (AD 242/3). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing left, head right, holding wreath in beak; L S (date) across field. Köln 2664; Dattari (Savio) 4810; K&G 72.122. VF, brown patina with light earthen deposits. Nice surfaces.
